On Sunday, the Hobart varsity eight finished in the top 10 in the Head of the Charles collegiate eights race for the eighth consecutive year. The Statesmen, who started ninth, had the fourth fastest split through the first time check and walked through McGill, which started seventh. Hobart posted a final time of 15:44.11, just 0.13 seconds behind sixth place Bucknell and only 1.85 seconds behind fifth place Wesleyan. The varsity eight was powered by senior coxswain Jessica Dinan, sophomore stroke August Wherry, junior Robert McNamara, junior Nicholas Baca, sophomore Brett Lawhon, sophomore Julien Green, sophomore Patrick Ware, sophomore Davis Muller, and sophomore bow Dylan Brodie.
