Vassar freshman Alfredo Mazzuca continued to make his claim as one of the best freshman in the region, as he placed fifth overall with a time of 25:42.4 at the 2013 Geneseo Invitational Saturday. The race, which is held at the same course as the regional will be later this year, saw the Brewers finish third as a team, their best finish over the last 10 years at the pre-regional race. He was the top finishing freshman at the race.
