RIT freshman outside hitter Sarah Szybist recorded 55 kills (4.2/set) to go along with 29 digs (2.2/set) and five blocks in a 1-3 week for the Tigers in Liberty League play. On Friday, she opened with 12 kills in a loss to St. Lawrence, then hit .548 with 20 kills and 10 digs in a three-set win over Bard. On Saturday, she had 15 kills, nine digs, and four blocks in a loss to Vassar. Szybist leads both RIT and the Liberty League with 324 kills (4.44/set) this season. No other player has reached the 200-kill mark through Sept. 28.
