William Smith senior Taylor Cappello had a team-high five points, including the 100th of her career, to help the fifth-ranked Herons to a 2-0 Liberty League weekend. In Friday's 3-1 win over RPI, she scored the second goal of the match and assisted on a third to help William Smith build a 3-0 lead. The three-point match raised her career total to 100, making her the 13th Heron to reach that lofty milestone. On Saturday, she scored William Smith's regulation goal in a 2-1 OT victory over Vassar. Cappello leads the Herons with eight goals and 21 points this season. At 9-0, the Herons are off to their best start since the 1995 team won its first 16 matches.
