Skidmore College senior Corinne Palmer led the Thoroughbreds to a second-place finish at the University of Rochester Invitational during the team’s 4-1 week. For the week, she led the team in kills (53 kills, 3.31 per set), hitting percentage 0.364, and blocks ( 8 block solo, 10 block assist, 1.12 total blocks per set.) This included a 13-kill with no hitting error 0.619 hitting percentage and 3-block performance in win over St. John Fisher; six blocks vs. New Paltz; and 14-kill with no hitting errors 0.467 and 3 blocks vs. Sage. Palmer was named to the all-tournament team at the University of Rochester Invitational.
