United States Merchant Marine Academy senior Richard Grennan connected on field goals of 29 and 34 yards as the Mariners earned a 34-27 Liberty League road victory over WPI. Grennan's field goals were USMMA's first and last scores of the afternoon. His 34-yarder with 1:20 left extended the lead to seven points. He also kicked a pair of extra points, accounting for eight points on the afternoon.
