RIT junior midfielder Tyler Brooks-Lambert was tremendous at the face-off "X" for the Tigers, winning 28-of-41 draws (68.3 percent) to go along with 17 ground balls and his first goal of the season, as RIT advanced to the NCAA Championship game for the first time in school history, defeating No. 6 Tufts, 14-5, and No. 1 Cortland, 10-9 in overtime.

On Wednesday, Brooks-Lambert was 13-for-20 at the "X" with nine ground balls in RIT's quarterfinal win over Tufts. On Sunday, Brooks-Lambert won 15 of 21 draws, including all seven in the first half, nabbed eight ground balls, and scored his first goal of the year in the overtime win over previously unbeaten Cortland.

Brooks-Lambert has now won 191 of 298 draws on the season (64.1 percent) and has a team-best 117 ground balls this season.
