Skidmore freshman Caroline Hobbs went 2-0 at No. 6 singles for the weekend, including the championship clinching win over Kelsey Van Noy of Vassar. She came back from down 0-5 in the first set to win the set 7-6 (7-5), then closed out the second set 6-4 to secure Skidmore's fifth team point and the title. She also defeated Caia Diepenbrock of Bard 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
At No. 3 doubles, she teamed with Zoe Valella to defeat Danielle Iserlis/Sylivia Kool of Bard 8-0. She was leading in her match against Charlotte Federowicz of William Smith 6-0, 4-3 when the match was called.
