Senior Shelby Vakiener set a RIT record for goals in a game with nine, including the game winner in a 14-13 double OT win over Rochester on Wednesday, breaking the previous record of eight which had stood since 2004.

Vakiener scored three goals in the first half, three in the second half, and three in the overtime sessions, including the game winner off a free position attempt with :33 seconds to play in the second overtime. She now has a school record 230 goals, and 327 career points and hit the 50-goal mark for the third straight season.
