Freshman Tanner Swanson helped NYU to a second-place finish at the NYU Spring Invitational over the weekend. Swanson placed a career-best fifth out of 34 golfers at the tournament, shooting a two-day total of 158 (77-81) at the Forest Hills Field Club. With Swanson’s help, the Violets took second in a field of six teams with a 636 (320-316).
