The St. Lawrence varsity eight earned a first-place finish in Rochester, beating the Yellowjackets by 10 seconds and knocking off Mercyhurst, the Div. II ninth ranked team, and RIT in the process. The crew, which consisted of Heidi Weiss, Jenette Kloss, Britton Weber, Emily Hutchinson, Maggie Fellows, Sally Dankner, Jess Burdett, Maddy Fones and Kelly Greenwood, finished in 7:05.06.
