Union College freshman Jamie Faber started two games at first base and made his first collegiate start on the mound last week. In the second game of a double header against Wittenburg, Faber started at first base and registered a two RBI double. On the mound against Sewanee, Faber went 7.0 innings, striking out four and walking one batter. He gave up one hit and allowed no runs en route to a 9-2 win against Sewanee. His performance aided the Dutchmen to a 3-3 start at the RussMatt Invitational.
