John Tellgren qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 3-meter competition and posted the highest score at the NCAA Division III Regional Diving Qualifier, hosted by Ithaca College. Tellgren's score of 590.25 crushed his own school record of 555.00 which was set at the UNYSCSA Championships last weekend. He narrowly edged out Matthew Morrison of Ithaca College who posted a score of 590.20.

On Friday, Tellgren's score of 525.95 in the 1-meter competition was 2.95 points out of second place in the qualifier, with the top two divers moving on to the NCAA Championships.
