Courtney Tennant helped RIT to a 3-0 week last week with wins over William Smith, St. Lawrence and Clarkson. The win over William Smith was the first for RIT in program history.
Tennant averaged 20.3 PPG and 13.0 RPG in three games last week. She shot 52.4% from the floor, 89.5% from the foul line, blocked eight shots and had three steals.
Against the Herons,Tennant scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. She was 8-of-12 from the floor, 4-of-4 from the foul line and had two blocks. The junior center then tallied a career-high 29 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a 73-65 win over St. Lawrence. She was 11-of-21 from the field, 7-of-9 from the foul line, had three blocks and two steals for the Tigers. In the final game of the season for RIT, Tennant scored 12 points with 10 rebounds in a 69-59 win over Clarkson. She was just 3-of-9 from the field, but went 6-for-6 from the foul line and blocked three shots.
