St. Lawrence University freshman Aaron Tompkins ran the 8K Gold race at the Paul Short Invitational in 27:12 (5:09 pace) against elite runners from primarily division I schools. He finished in 271st place out of over 400 runners. St. Lawrence was the only Division III team competing in the 45-team Gold race.
