Rochester Institute of Technology sophomore John Tellgren placed second in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events at the Dick Cozmano Memorial Invitational hosted by Ithaca College on Sunday. Tellgren recorded 513.40 points in the 1-meter and tallied 547.80 points in the 3-meter. He broke the RIT school record in the 1-meter by almost 25 points. Tellgren, who is a leading candidate to qualify for the NCAA Championships in March, also won both events against Rochester in a dual meet on Saturday.
