William Smith College senior midfielder Miranda DeMura had three points on a goal and an assist and led the Herons' defense to a pair of shutouts in a 2-0 week in Liberty League play. The two wins helped William Smith secure the Liberty League regular season title. DeMura and the Herons' defense limited St. Lawrence and Union to a combined nine shots on the week. The Saints' three shots on Wednesday were a season-low. A strong two-way player, DeMura also had a goal and an assist on the week. Against St. Lawremce, she was credited with the game-winning goal as the Herons prevailed 2-0. DeMura then set up Grace Sudbay's goal on Saturday. DeMura has started all 14 games in which she's played this season.
