William Smith College first-year outside hitter Cassidy Breuer combined for 27 kills (.292), 22 digs, four service aces, and three blocks as the Herons defeated Skidmore 3-1 and St. Lawrence 3-0 to improve to 15-4 on the season. Breuer averaged 3.86 kills per set, 3.14 digs per set and 4.64 points per set in the two matches. She opened the weekend with a 16-kill (.261), seven-dig, two-block and one-service ace performance against the Thoroughbreds. She then recorded 11 kills (.346), 15 digs, three service aces and a block in a sweep of the Saints. It was her sixth double-double of the season. Breuer currently leads the Liberty League in kills per set (3.69) and points per set (4.20) while ranking 11th in digs per set (2.67).
