William Smith College junior midfielder Kristin Middaugh scored two game-winning goals last week as the Herons opened Liberty League play with a 2-0-0 record. On Wednesday against Ithaca, Middaugh scored in the 60th minute, collecting a loose ball at the top of the 18-yard box and firing a shot past the Bombers' goalkeeper. On Saturday against Clarkson, she collected a pass near the penalty spot and slipped a shot past the goalie. Middaugh leads the team and ranks fourth in the Liberty League with four goals.
