Hobart College first-year Tyler Cumming produced a game-high nine tackles, including two for loss and a sack, against Ithaca. The Statesmen defense held a Bomber offense that came into the game averaging 7.0 yards per carry, 537.3 yards of total offense per game and 47.5 points per game to just a season-low 3.2 yards per carry, a season-low 320 yards of total offense and just 27 points. After giving up 20 points in the first half, Cumming and the rest of the defense limited Ithaca to just a single touchdown after halftime.
