First-year midfielder Joseph Carofano played a role in four of Union's seven goals over two matches last week, scoring once and adding three assists in a pair of wins for the Garnet Chargers. Carofano assisted on two second-half tallies in Tuesday's 4-1 win at Morrisville State, helping to secure the non-conference victory. He also contributed to the team's first two tallies on Saturday in a 3-1 win at Clarkson to open Liberty League play, assisting on the first goal just 60 seconds into the game and then scoring his first collegiate goal in the 10th minute for the eventual game-winner.
