The RPI doubles team consisting of senior Tsubasa Okada and sophomore Gustave Viennet advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Northeast Regional Championship. The RPI duo opened the tournament with an 8-6 victory over a Hobart pair in the round of 32. Okada and Viennet followed with an 8-5 victory against Ithaca in the round of 16 before an 8-4 win over Hamilton's top team in the quarterfinals. The team's run came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-6, 6-2 loss to Boren Zheng and Bryan Hui of NYU, the eventual tournament champions.
