Vassar College first-year player Eddie Zeng advanced to the semifinal round of the main singles draw at the ITA Northeast Regional over the weekend, finishing the event with a 4-1 record. Zeng opened the tournament with a 4-6, 6-3, 10-6 win over his opponent from Baruch. He then earned victories against opponents from NYU, RIT and Hamilton to advance to the semifinals where he dropped a close 6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 6-2 decision to Skidmore senior Yuval Goodman.
