Skidmore College sophomore Ginevra Muratori went 2-1 in singles and 3-0 in doubles over the weekend at the Thoroughbred Invitational. She earned wins against No. 1 players from Smith and RPI. Muratori earned victories in both the eight-game pro-set format and the best-of-three format featuring a 10-point match tiebreak in place of the third set. Muratori also defeated Smith's Heidi Cambron 6-3, 5-7, 10-7 before taking down RPI's Guari Muliyil 8-3. Her singles loss was as a very tight 8-6 loss to Swarthmore’s top player.
