RPI senior forward Maddy Kaminski scored three goals in three games as the Engineers opened the season by going 1-0-2. Kaminski scored RPI's first goal in each game. Against Suffolk in the opener, she scored in the second minute of a 1-1 tie. In the second game at Drew, also a 1-1 draw, Kaminski scored in the 85th minute to pull the Engineers even. Then, in a 3-0 victory over Mount Holyoke, she scored the game's first goal in the 28th minute - the eventual game-winner - to propel RPI to its first win of the season.
