St. Lawrence University senior Yvette Karera won the A-flight singles draw at the Mary Hosking Invitational hosted by William Smith. Karera began her weekend by beating Grace Magna of William Smith 8-1 before downing RIT's Kai Wells 8-4. She then moved past teammates Elisa Iuri and Ariane Karera to take the draw.
