Against a potent Brockport defense that scored 68 points and produced 487 yards of total offense in Week 1, Hobart College senior defensive back Zeshan Dixon turned in the best defensive performance of his collegiate career. He made a team and career-high 13 tackles, intercepted a career-high three passes and broke up a fourth as the Statesmen handed the Golden Eagles a 27-14 loss. His first pick of the game, a leaping, one-handed snag, landed at No. 10 on SportsCenter's Top Plays. His last pick Dixon pulled out of midair after Xavier Aviles broke up the pass. Dixon returned the interception 72 yards for a game-clinching touchdown with 1:45 remaining. It was the first time a Statesman had three interceptions in a game since Nov. 22, 2008. It's the most tackles in a game by a Statesman since Sept. 27, 2025, and it's the most tackles by a member of the Hobart secondary since Nov. 12, 2022.
