Vassar College junior Haley Schoenegge claimed her third straight 1,500 meters national title at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships as she pulled away in the final lap, throwing down a blazing 1:05.16 over the final 400 meters, to finish the race with a time of 4:16.73. Schoenegge aslo posted an eighth-place finish in the 5,000 metes to score her second First Team All-America honor of the day with a time of 16:42.43. The junior now holds 11th total All-America selections with nine of them coming in track and two coming in cross country. She also has five national titles.
