University of Rochester junior Nora Chen earned three top-three finishes at the All-Atlantic Regional Outdoor Championships (AARTFC) last week, helping the Yellowjackets to its first-ever regional meet title. The junior finished first in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:00.81, added a runner-up finish in the 4x400 meter relay (3:47.40) and also placed third in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 14.65 seconds (14.37 second prelim time). Chen and the relay finished the season ranked 22nd on the Division III performance list (No. 16 after duplicates), to earn a spot at the NCAA Championships. Chen also qualified for NCAAs as an individual in both hurdle events. Rochester as a team ranked first among 51 teams that scored at the meet with 70 points.
