William Smith College senior defender Caitie Baker anchored the Herons' defense to a 2-0 week in Liberty League play. She had five caused turnovers and five ground balls as the Herons limited RPI and Union to 6.5 goals on the weekend. On Friday against the Engineers, Baker caused three turnovers and picked up a ground ball as the Herons won 19-6. On Saturday against the Garnet Chargers, Baker had two caused turnovers and a season-high four ground balls as the Herons  won 12-7 and clinched the Liberty League regular season title. A starter in all 16 games, Baker has 26 caused turnovers and 21 ground balls.
