Hobart College first-year Jack O'Neil was 6-for-14 (.429) at the plate in three Hobart wins last week. He also stole two bases, drove in four runs and scored four times. At Fredonia, O'Neil was 1-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored. Against Elmira, he enjoyed his best day at the dish, going 3-for-5 with an RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored. He wrapped up the week going 2-for-5 with two RBIs and a run scored at Wilkes. O'Neil's second inning single drove in two runs and gave the Statesmen a 5-0 lead in a game. He singled again in the fifth and came around to score what proved to be the winning run as Hobart beat the Colonels 6-5. For the week, he was perfect in the field, handling all six of his chances.
