University of Rochester first-year athlete Lauren Murphy competed in the long jump, posting an event win at the SUNY Brockport Multi & Invitational over the weekend for the Yellowjackets. Murphy posted a mark of 5.69 meters, ranking 13th in Division III so far this season and second in the Liberty League. She was first among 38 competitors at the Brockport meet.
