University of Rochester first-year athlete Brant Nicholls competed in two events at the William & Mary Colonial Relays over the weekend, helping the Yellowjackets to a top-5 team result at the Division I meet. Nicholls finished fifth among 18 athletes in the pole vault competition, clearing 4.62 meters, the current No. 37 mark on the Division III performance list and AARTFC qualifier. Nicholls also ran the 110-meter hurdles, finishing in 12th place with a time of 16.04 seconds.
