University of Rochester first-year athlete Lauren Murphy had two top-5 NCAA Division III marks after performing at the William & Mary Colonial Relays over the weekend. Murphy is currently ranked second in the triple jump with a 12.12-meter leap and also ranks fifth on the D3 list in the 4x400-meter relay, running on UR’s team that posted a time of 3:50.51. She also competed in the 200 meters, running 26.61 seconds. Murphy's triple jump distance was good enough to win the event at the D1 meet, while the relay time placed Rochester as event runner-up, with both of those marks qualifying for regionals.
