St. Lawrence University first-year pitcher Narthan Jackson made two appearances for the Saints last week in a 6-5 loss to Canton and a 8-3 win against league foe Rochester. The newcomer pitched eight total innings this week (1 vs Canton, 7 vs Rochester) and did not give up any earned runs on seven hits, while striking out a team-high seven batters. Jackson was key in the team's extra-innings win on Sunday, tossing seven innings in relief en route to earning the 8-3 (14 innings) victory.
