William Smith College first-year attack Cat Colvin continued her strong rookie campaign, finishing the week with eight points on six goals and two assists. She also had two ground balls and a caused turnover in a 2-1 week for the Herons. Against No. 4 Salisbury, she scored twice for two points and scooped up a ground ball. On Friday, Colvin again recorded two points, this time on a goal and an assist as William Smith shut out Clarkson, 16-0. On Saturday, Colvin collected her first collegiate hat trick and added an assist as the Herons beat St. Lawrence, 13-4. Colvin also caused a turnover, when she broke up a clearing attempt that led to her third goal of the game. A starter in all eight games this season, Colvin has 21 points on 13 goals and eight assists. She is tied for first on the team in points.
