RIT graduate student and designated hitter Max Matteucci had a standout week for the Tigers. He produced 11 RBI, six extra-base hits (4 2B, 2 HR), and six runs across three games against league foe Clarkson, a 2-1 series win for RIT. Matteucci opened the weekend hitting 2-for-5 and finished with three RBI. He belted a three-run homer in Game 1 and followed it up with a three-RBI, two-double outing in Game 2. Matteucci capped the series with a two-run homer and five total RBIs in Sunday’s win.
