William Smith College junior defender Janey Sypeck led the Heron defense to a 2-0 week with eight caused turnovers and seven ground balls in the two games. She was part of the defensive unit that limited St. John Fisher (8-2 W) and Skidmore  (18-6 W) to a combined eight goals. The two goals were Fisher's lowest output of the season to date. Against the Cardinals, she had four caused turnovers and three ground balls. She followed that up with a four ground ball and four caused turnover performance against Skidmore. Sypeck leads the Herons' defense with 14 caused turnovers and is second with 10 ground balls.
