Union College junior Ashley Sheldon finished third in the high jump to earn All-America first-team honors at the NCAA Division III Championships by clearing a program- and conference-record 1.73 meters, making her the first Liberty League female student-athlete ever (indoors or outdoors) to clear the height. Sheldon cleared the first four heights on her first attempt, including the previous program record of 1.70 meters (5'7"), and then got cleanly over the 1.73-meter bar on her third and final chance to clinch a spot in the top-three and set a league record.
