University of Rochester first-year athlete Lauren Murphy was a two-time All-American in her first NCAA Championships appearance, competing in the long jump and triple jump. Murphy finished sixth in the triple jump on Saturday, posting a Rochester school record of 12.06 meters, securing first team All-America honors. She was in fourth place heading into the final round of jumps. Earlier in the meet, Murphy also placed 14th in the long jump, jumping 5.45 meters, to receive second team All-America honors. As a team, Rochester finished tied for 31st in the standings.
