Vassar College first-year Jess Geoghagan made the first two appearances of his career last week, totaling 37 saves and four ground balls in a 1-1 week. In his first career start in goal on Wednesday, Geoghagan turned aside 30 shots and collected three groundballs for Vassar in a road loss at #17/16 Wesleyan. The save total is the third highest in a single game at Vassar since the start of the 2005 season. On Saturday in a 16-7 home win over Clark, Geoghagan made seven more saves and secured a ground ball in 30 minutes of action between the pipes.
