University of Rochester sophomore Emmett Hansen competed in three events, scoring in two at the Liberty League Championships this weekend, which ended in him being named Outstanding Field Performer. Hansen captured first place in the heptathlon, scoring 4,771 points over the seven-event competition. He added a seventh-place finish in the long jump (6.51 meters) and placed 13th in the pole vault at 4.06 meters, helping Rochester to a second-place team finish.
