Hobart College junior first baseman Sean Garvin led the Statesmen to a series win at Franklin & Marshall, slashing .455/.500/.818. He doubled, homered, drove in a team-high six runs and scored four times as Hobart won two of three in Lancaster. Garvin is riding a 10-game hitting streak and has reached base safely in 15 straight games. In the first game of the series, he singled and was hit by a pitch in four plate appearances. In Game 2, he doubled and homered, driving in two runs and scoring twice in a 12-0 rout of the Diplomats. He wrapped up the series with another two-hit game, driving in four runs and scoring twice. Through seven games, Garvin is hitting .440 with 11 hits, two doubles, two home runs, nine RBIs and 10 runs scored.
