In the high jump at the SLU Open, St. Lawrence University first-year athlete Landon Powers registered a personal-best leap of 1.90 meters to take first place in the event. Powers also posted a personal-best in the hurdles, clocking an 8.83 in the 60-meter hurdles during his prelim run, and ultimately placed seventh in the final.
