Hobart College first-year Quinn Dashefsky hit .571 in his collegiate debut weekend, helping the Statesmen earn three wins. Behind the plate for Game 1 against Hanover on Friday, he delivered a two-run single in his second career at bat and threw out two would-be base stealers, helping the Statesmen earn an 11-3 win. In Game 1 on Saturday, Dashefsky was 3-for-4, including a two-run double and an RBI single, and threw out another would-be base stealer as Hobart outlasted Methodist 16-13. He also played the final two innings behind the plate of Game 2's 5-3 win over the Monarchs. Hobart is 4-0 for the first time since 1963.
