RIT first-year Taryn Hickey won two freestyle events at her first Liberty League Swimming & Diving Championship. She was the individual champion in the 100-yard freestyle in 51.41 seconds, nearly surpassing the meet record time of 51.38. The newcomer also posted a victory in the the 50-yard freestyle (23.70). She also placed fourth in the 100-yard butterfly. She also took part in both of the Tiger's third-place relays: 200 medley and 200 freestyle as well as the 400 freestyle (4th) and 400 medley (5th).
