Ithaca College junior Kathleen Papiernik earned a pair of individual wins at her third conference championship. She won the 200-yard IM in 2:06.11 and returned the next day to defend her title in the 100 butterfly with a 55.32, a performance that not only earned the Liberty League crown but also achieved an NCAA Division III B-cut time as well as narrowly broke the association record of 55.47 seconds. She was the runner-up in the 200-yard breaststroke and had a hand in two of Ithaca’s five relay victories (200 medley, 400 medley). She was selected as the Liberty League Swimmer of the Meet at the conclusion of the championship.
