University of Rochester first-year athlete Lauren Murphy earned a win in the long jump on Saturday at the Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup, securing a mark of 5.29 meters. Murphy also competed in the 200 meters and placed 13th with a time of 27.65 seconds. Her event win scored ten team points for the Yellowjackets and helped Rochester finish second overall in the team standings.
