University of Rochester first-year athlete Lauren Murphy had two top-three results for the Yellowjackets, competing at the RIT January Invitational on Friday evening. Murphy finished first in the triple jump for the second straight meet to start her career, posting a distance of 11.82 meters. She also added a third place jump in the long jump, leaping 5.53 meters, currently ranking 25th on the NCAA Division III performance list. Both marks were AARTFC qualifying performances.
