RIT first-year swimmer Laina Swartzwelder won the 500- and 1,000-yard freestyle races in a dual meet against Rochester on Saturday. Swartzwelder swam 5:27.56 in the 500 and 11:06.71 in the 1,000. She also swam legs in the 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard medley relays that placed second.
